Wondering if the answer is inside

Of myself, that shooting star
On his way to who knows where

But he outshines up there
And this solitary star is an awful lot like me
On an endless search through time and space

Heroes like Hercules.
Honey, you mean Hercules! Ooh, I'd like to make some sweet music with him. Wow!
Our story actually begins long before Hercules, many eons ago.

Back when the world was new
The planet earth was down on its luck
And everywhere gigantic brutes
Called Titans ran amok

It was a nasty place
There was a mess wherever you stepped
Where chaos reigned and earthquakes
And volcanos never slept

And then along came Zeus
He hurled his thunderbolt, he zapped
Locked those suckers in a vault, they're trapped
And on his own stopped chaos in its tracks

Erzähler: Vor langer, langer Zeit, im antiken Griechenland, gab es eine goldene Ära mächtiger Götter und sagenumwobener Helden. Der berühmteste und mächtigste dieser Helden war der legendäre Hercules. Aber wann ist ein Held ein wahrer Held? Tja, genau das erzählt unsere-
Musen: Meint er das etwa ernst? Als wär' das ganze so 'ne klassische Tragödie. Nicht so heftig, Süßer. Jetzt sind wir dran, Schätzchen.

Wir sind die Musen, Göttinnen der Künste und Besinger von Helden.
Helden wie Hercules.

Unsere Geschichte fängt eigentlich lange vor Hercules an, vor vielen Jahrtausenden.
Da war die Welt noch neu
Und Mutter Erde ging es nicht gut
Denn die Titanen
Packte eine blinde, kalte Wut
Es war ja ekelhaft
Der ganze Dreck war echt ein Problem
Es hat gebebt, geschüttelt

Sperrte er die Rowdies ein, total
Und alles Böse biß dabei ins Gras

Wenn es einen Gott gibt, den man nicht zum Kochen bringen sollte, ist es Hades. Und Hades hegte einen üblen Plan.
Sein war die Unterwelt
