ROMANIAN POINT OR "LANSET"
My friend Alina, from Roman, a town situated east of Romania, has shown us step by step how her mother makes the traditional Romanian Point. In Romania mothers, present day mothers still teach their daughters how to make "lanset" (how they call it), and almost all houses are decorated with doilies made in Romanian Point.
We could say that this lace is a combination of of crochet and needle stitch.
