The star marked with a cross also I got it to see, being but difficult although it seems the opposite, to correctly locate it on the letter that really to see it, by the near star absence of reference. In fact, I am completely safe of it to have seen. I would like to receive information on this star, as much his magnitude as his color or phantom. Perhaps the eye is more sensible to a certain wavelength that to a photo or an image CCD, that is but sensible to the red one.
![]() I would like to receive any type of information, as much of his magnitude as of his color. Once written up east text, I have found a very good image in color. The peculiar thing is that the four stars are red. It would thank for a recent image in CCD to be able to know the truth of this subject. I hope is taken me in consideration, because I take investigating it from the explosion of the Supernova.
![]() The variable is the star located between two horizontal rays. In this photo to being in the minimum more likely, being the type Or Gem, that is where usually it is. To which I go is that the two stars marked with two vertical rays I was able them to see, going up to around 16´0 for most shining and of 17´0 for the other, surpassing the magnitude limit of the letter that is of 16´2. As I saw, because I made most logical, represent two stars in my letter and put a magnitude approximated, but with the progressive increase of the luminance contamination it has been to me impossible to confirm it from Valdelaguna. This observation was the 9 of March or the 6 of April of 1.997. It can happen several things: That it really did not see them, that I would like outside that truth, that the image is made with some type of filter or that they are variable. Perhaps a weakest outside illusion, but the other I put it like almost one shining magnitude but, being clear that my magnitude limit would be superior. As it is possible to be observed easily in the image, I could not see them. I would request you could confirm. This image is of A. Henden and B. Sumner. Drawn by M. Simonsen. http://www.joevp.20m.com/cgi-bin/i/charts/henden/And%20to%20Gem/Boo_TT_C_reverse.gif" I have been able to corroborate my observation in the month of August of the 2001. Also the 9 of March of the 2003. The stars marked like "a", "b" I observed on the magnitude 16´3 very clearly. Star "c", I did not observe it by a confusion. Stars "d", "e", "f", "g" are like almost one weak magnitude but, and in addition all of them to the same brightness. Throwing a look to the photo it is appraised clearly that stars "a", "b" are much more weak, as well as the inferior magnitude 17´5 and the other stars of 18´0. I do not get to understand very well that it happens. What I have absolutely surely is to get to see all marked stars, my magnitude limit was even a little but inferior since it was able to see all stars at the same moment and was able to be able to retain them in my retina very few seconds, the sufficient thing to be safe.
![]() After observing all these marked stars, esteem that the marked star of the 16.1 registered by the AAVSO, I see it like a weak magnitude but. On the other hand the letter of the AAVSO arrives until magnitude 17.3 reason why they do not come drawn two stars from the magnitude 16.8 and one of the 17.0 that thus is as I see them. And in the image in DSS thus it even is as it is appraised. Really, I will have to continue observing the star of the 16.1 to know if it really has the brightness that I appreciate to him or the one of the AAVSO.
![]() The star that frame with three stars saw it so clearly, that it is strange to me much that has that magnitude that imagines here. That I do not arrive at those magnitudes. Sure since there are many takings in CCD in Internet of this galaxy, because there was one supernovates in 1.998 "SN 1998 S", because I have watched very many and in all he that appears weak the star that frame with three rays. The star marked with two rays I saw a little but shining with respect to which frame with three stars, that is to say, as form comes here. Every time I understand less because I see some so shining stars. Totally I am convinced to see them and impossible to mistake, since my magnitude limit was a little superior, the sufficient thing to me to position it in the letter with total clarity with the minimum error of displacement, since when a star is very weak, usually it is not easy to know exactly where one is.
