People all around the globe are
shocked and appalled once more, to learn of your plan to start the killing
of stray animals in Nis, again. Such actions are not only in
violation of your own laws, but in defiance of every world humane
organization appeal to stop the killing of stray dogs and cats
and to instead adopt a more humane and economical plan that
would make sterilization, vaccination and micro-chipping of
animals, mandatory.
It is time to join the rest of the modern, civilized world by
instituting more compassionate policies toward your dogs and cats,
which include spay/neuter (sterilization, desexing), as an
official policy, and also, by investing your money more wisely in the
construction of well-run animal shelters, so that people can go
to a shelter to find lost pets and adopt new ones, instead of
continuing the senseless killing .
Dogs and cats are beloved companion animals. They are
innocent victims of bad policies, government inaction and
ignorance. They deserve better.
