1. why rabid dog was transported from Barajevo to Belgrade ? Why rabid dog was not properly isolated?

(a) Rabid dog was transported in mini wan from one part of the city to another district this mini wan is not operating as isolated/quarantine vehicle.

Rabid dog left secretions and every animal that is to be transported in that same vehicle is exposed to possible rabies infection.

(b) This same vehicle is being used for transport of stray dogs and cats and all other animals that are without owners and happen to be found strolling on Serbian streets.

This vehicle is being used for transport of sick and healthy animals in the same time.

(c) Transport of rabid animal should be monitored and conducted under supervision and in ideal environment, Minister Dejan Krnjajic stated that everything was done by procedure, but as we read his statements, we are noticing defects and major errors in action they condoned.

(d) Rabid animal was transported from one location to another, by that action possibilities for rabies transition/spreading trough Belgrade districts went from possible to very high.

Inappropriate Transport of the rabid dog trough communities- endangered local citizens, all Pet animals (dogs, cats, ..), Farm animals and over all Fauna in this region.

(a)The dog was rabid and workers of communal enterprise/service intentionally brought in danger all other dogs in Ovca facility, by not isolating the rabid dog in quarantine (the dog owner was bitten on March 29. 2007.- suspicions on rabies started that day, they had more than a week to prepare Ovca facility and create quarantine room.- but they brought this rabid dog among healthy dogs and cats in Ovca kill facility. )

BELGRADE, Serbia, April 6 A recent attack on a Belgrade man by his rabid dog has Serbian officials reminding pet owners to get cats and dogs vaccinated against the disease.

The pet owner was bitten on the head by his rabid pet last week, the Serbian news agency, Beta, reported Friday.

He has undergone a series of rabies shots after telling authorities his dog was not vaccinated and that he had noticed recent changes in its behavior. The dog was officially diagnosed with rabies and died at a suburban Belgrade animal shelter, Beta said.

Veterinary officials ordered all animals that came in contact with the rabid dog at the shelter to be put down.

Why they killed all dogs in Ovca kill shelter- if they did everything by procedure??

they did not isolate the rabid dog? put him into carantine??

they knew that they have rabid dog on hands, they new it was rabid when they went to catch this dog.

and .. again, shinters (dog catchers) drove that rabid animal troug whole city- from one part to another in mini wan!! that car is not made as isolated/carntine venchile.
